31/03/2024. In order to commemorate the night of Nuzulul Quran, PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BNI shares happiness by organizing Wonderful Ramadan, a special celebration that is presented with inspiring scholarship and sanctification to orphans.
This activity is part of a series of BNI Ramadan Activities in 2024/1445 Hijriah which includes Management Greeting activities, Providing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) which are held in total in 12 cities throughout Indonesia.
This year's Safari Ramadan to commemorate Nuzulul Quran carries the theme Wonderful Ramadan, "The Beauty of Sharing, Celebrating the Night of the Coming of the Quran". This event took place at the Ballroom on the 6th Floor of BNI Menara Pejompongan, Jakarta, Saturday (30/3/2024).
Present at the event were the Grand Imam of the Istiqlal Mosque Nasaruddin Umar, BNI President Director Royke Tumilaar, Deputy President Commissioner Pahala Nugraha Mansury, Board of Directors, SEVP, Senior Leaders of BNI, along with Directors of Subsidiaries, the Central Executive Board of the BNI Workers Union (DPP SP BNI), and the Islamic Spiritual Development Board (BAPEKIS).
In his reception, BNI President Director Royke Tumilaar invited the people to take the wisdom and universal values of the holy month of Ramadan by building tolerance, peace, brotherhood, affection, and cooperation among religious peoples, so that they can live together in harmony.
"It is a pleasure in this blessed month that we can gather together at the BNI Wonderful Ramadan. May this event strengthen the brotherhood between us," he said.
Royke stated that the night of the Nuzulul Quran can be devoted for reflection. He believes that improvement should not come from great things, but from modest things done regularly and by oneself.
In keeping with that, BNI has continued to transform over the previous three years, with the key focus being Technology and People, as well as enhancing Strategy and the Business Engine.
"I urge all of us to always think positively, keep spirit, compactness, always discipline, and always maintain integrity in work," he said.
On the same occasion, BNI Deputy President Commissioner Pahala Nugraha Mansury also invited people to make this year's Nuzulul Quran commemoration a momentum for introspection, reorganizing attitudes and behavior and improving performance as well as professionalism and integrity.
Pahala stated that BNI would mark the night of the advent of the Al-Quran by sharing with orphans, and it is hoped that this celebration will provide even more passion to deepen faith and social concern.
"Happy Fasting in Ramadan 1445 Hijriah and Happy Nuzulul Quran 2024. May this Ramadan bring blessings to all of us," he concluded.
