Mudik Asyik Bersama BUMN, BNI Delivers 4,200 Travelers Home

05/04/2024. PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BNI has again shown its commitment to supporting the smooth running of the Eid 2024 homecoming by participating in the Mudik Asyik Bersama BUMN program.

BNI provided 84 buses to transport 4,200 travelers back to their hometowns to various destination cities in Java and Sumatra.

This Mudik Asyik Bersama BUMN 2024 Program was participated by 88 SOE companies with a total target of delivering 80,215 homecoming travelers.

BNI sent off homecoming participants to Solo, Yogyakarta, Palembang, Purwokerto, Semarang, Malang, Surabaya, and Padang.

The symbolic departure of homecoming participants was carried out at the Monas Crossing Field, Jakarta, on Friday (5/4/2024), and a farewell ceremony was held in each BNI Region.

BNI Corporate Secretary Okki Rushartomo said that the Mudik Asyik Bersama BUMN 2024 program was part of the Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) of the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN).

"BNI is participating in meeting the high demand of people who want to go home for free safely, comfortably and healthily," said Okki.

He ensured that the implementation of this year's homecoming flow was carried out in a conducive manner by prioritizing the homecoming travelers' safety and security.

To that end, BNI continued to coordinate with all relevant parties for the preparation and implementation as well as the eligibility of all transportation fleets for the Mudik Asyik Bersama BUMN 2024 Program.

Okki added, through this free homecoming activity, BNI hoped to provide convenience to the public so they can go home safely and comfortably.

"Hopefully you arrive safely at your destination and have a nice gathering with your beloved family," he concluded.
