07/04/2024. PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BNI has once again shown its commitment to sharing happiness in the month of Ramadan by holding various programs.
This program, which is part of the implementation of BNI's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), is a real manifestation of BNI's concern for the community, particularly during the blessed month of Ramadan.
One of BNI's flagship programs is Safari Ramadan 2024, which aims to deliver 78.000 packages of basic necessities and assistance to people in 17 BNI work areas. The program focuses on areas with a majority of Muslim residents near BNI outlets.
"The Safari Ramadan Program is a BNI annual activity that aims to foster friendship, build togetherness, and share with the surrounding community," said BNI Corporate Secretary Okki Rushartomo.
Okki further said that BNI is establishing synergy with various parties in implementing this program, including state-owned enterprises in providing basic food packages such as Bulog, RNI, and PPI, as well as BNI's smart partner partners, namely Agen46.
"This synergy is expected to expand the reach of the program and provide greater benefits to people in need," added Okki.
In addition to the Safari Ramadan, BNI also took part in the BUMN Safari Ramadan 2024 which was initiated by the Ministry of SOEs. BNI was tasked with carrying out the Cheap Market activities in 40 cities/regencies accross Indonesia.
"This cheap market is expected to help people get food at affordable prices," said Okki.
BNI also did not forget online motorcycle taxi partners in this month of Ramadan. BNI in collaboration with PT PLN provided 1,500 basic food packages for online motorcycle taxi partners in the Tebus Murah Sembako program.
This Tebus Murah Sembako Program is one form of BNI's social pillar implementation, which aims to improve community welfare. "This Tebus Murah Sembako Program is a manifestation of BNI's commitment to share happiness with the community in the month of Ramadan," said Okki.
In addition to programs for the underprivileged, BNI also pays attention to micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in this month of Ramadan. BNI held an SOE-fostered MSME Bazaar at various Safari Ramadan locations.
"This bazaar is expected to help MSMEs market their products and increase their income," Okki added.
Okki further added, BNI also participated in the Mudik Asyik Bersama BUMN program which is a free homecoming program for people who want to travel back home on Eid al-Fitr.
This program collaborates with various parties, including the Ministry of Transportation and other SOEs with a total target of delivering 80,215 homecoming travelers back to their hometowns.
BNI provided 84 buses to deliver the A4,200 homecoming travelers to various destination cities such as Solo, Yogyakarta, Palembang, Purwokerto, Semarang, Malang, Surabaya, and Padang.
"BNI participates in meeting the high needs of people who want to travel back home for free safely, comfortably and healthily," said Okki.
The various programs run by BNI in the month of Ramadan show BNI's commitment to share happiness with the wider community. This is in accordance with the Social and Environmental Responsibility (CSR) program which focuses on three pillars, namely social, economic and environmental.
"We want BNI programs in the month of Ramadan to bring happiness and benefits to the wider community. These BNI programs are expected to bring benefits to many people and strengthen BNI's relationship with the community," concluded Okki.
