Indonesian Ambassador to Singapore Suryo Pratomo appreciated BNI's initiative in supporting Indonesian MSMEs to penetrate the international market, especially Singapore. According to Suryo, BNI through Xpora has made it easy for local Indonesian MSMEs to market their products to the Indonesian diaspora and the people of Singapore.

"Of course, as a state-owned bank with a Go Global mandate, BNI is one of the drivers of national economic growth by increasing the capabilities of MSMEs so that they can compete with foreign products abroad," said Suryo Pratomo.

Meanwhile, in her remarks, BNI Retail Banking Director Corina Leyla Karnalies said that BNI is committed to always supporting Indonesian MSMEs in increasing competitiveness so that they can penetrate the global market.

"This event is one of BNI's efforts to support Indonesian MSMEs in penetrating the global market. We are sure that these products will attract visitors and open up new business opportunities for Indonesian MSMEs," said Corina.

With Ngee Ann/Takashimaya's promising average footfall of around 73,000 tourists per weekday and 91,000 visitors per day on weekends, the event is expected to attract at least 210,000 guests over its duration.

In addition to trade show, the event will also feature Tourism Promotion in the form of a virtual reality experience. Not to forget that this event will also feature some of Indonesia's best food and beverage culinary.

"By participating in this event, it is hoped that MSME players can take advantage of opportunities to gain new experiences, market insights in Singapore, product trends in Singapore, meet potential buyers who can later increase export transactions of Indonesian products," concluded Corina.
