28/05/2024. JAKARTA - PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BNI again won a prestigious award from CNBC Indonesia at the CNBC Indonesia Top Women Fest event.
The award was given to BNI's Finance Director, Novita Widya Anggraini, who was named as the Award Recipient with the category “The Most Inspiring Woman Leader: In Finance Industry”.
CNBC Indonesia Top Women Fest is a discussion and awarding event for Indonesian women who have successful careers, breaking barriers, and becoming role models for women today.
The award was presented directly to Novita Widya Anggraini at the CNBC Indonesia Top Women Fest event with the theme “Inspiring Women, Inspire the World”, which was held at Sarinah, Jakarta, on Saturday (26/5/2024).
Novita was appreciated for her work as an inspiring woman in encouraging banking transformation. The banking transformation aims to increase the role of banks as intermediary institutions, thus ultimately encouraging the role of banks in national economic growth (agent of development).
She is also a leading role in creating positive change and is able to be part of the commitment to strengthen gender equality and inclusion in her field.
In her speech, Novita expressed her gratitude to CNBC Indonesia for the trust given to her to receive this award.
“Thank you for the award, this is a great appreciation, not only for me, but also for BNI of course,” said Novita.
Novita shared that gender inequality, lack of insight, stereotypes, and lack of support often prevent women from shining and making meaningful contributions to their environment.
However, through the spirit of hard work and confidence, women can also create great changes that have a positive impact on society.
Therefore, Novita invites all women in Indonesia to keep thinking positively that women can also achieve and inspire in encouraging their environment to be better.
