(26/6/2024) - JAKARTA – PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BNI is committed to continuing to support government programs in increasing access to financing for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) through People's Business Credit (KUR) and BNI Entrepreneurs (BWU).
As a form of this commitment, BNI will continue to serve the KUR and BWU distribution process, both new contracts and restructuring, on Saturday, June 29, 2024. This is taken to accelerate the realization of KUR and BWU distribution and encourage the growth of MSMEs in Indonesia.
BNI Corporate Secretary Okki Rushartomo stated that in 2024 BNI received a KUR distribution target from the Indonesian Government in the amount of IDR 18 trillion. As of June 21, 2024, the realization of BNI KUR distribution has reached IDR 6.36 trillion.
“We are optimistic that we can achieve this target with various strategic steps, including by continuing to serve KUR and BWU processes on holidays,” said Okki.
In addition, BNI also continues to be committed to maintaining the quality of KUR and BWU. Until the end of the year BNI targets gross NPL for MSME loans below 3%.
To maintain the quality of MSME loans, BNI has taken several strategic steps. These steps include focusing on selected markets by working on corporate value chains, potential customers, digital ecosystems, and cooperation partners.
Also, BNI also standardizes the process through end-to-end digitization of the credit process, and uses a scoring system that is calibrated regularly in the credit application process.
These measures aim to ensure that MSME credit services remain optimal and effective in supporting the economic growth of the MSME sector in Indonesia.
“BNI invites all KUR and BWU customers who want to make new contracts or restructuring to take advantage of BNI services on Saturday, June 29, 2024. BNI is ready to provide the best service to support MSMEs’ growth,” concluded Okki.
