(4/7/2024) - JAKARTA - PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BNI continues to be committed to providing digital-based financial solutions to the academic community through the Campus Financial Ecosystem program. The latest step in this initiative is the inauguration of the Integrated Service Unit (ULT) at the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), which is part of the company's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program.
The launch was held on Wednesday (3/7/2024) in Bandung, in conjunction with the 104th anniversary of Technical Higher Education in Indonesia.
Present at the event were BNI Institutional Banking Director Munadi Herlambang, BNI Institutional Banking Division 2 Head Efrizal, BNI Regional CEO Region 04 Bandung Roy Wahyu Maulana, ITB Chancellor Reini Wirahadikusumah, Secretary of ITB Widjaja Martokusumo, and ITB Vice Chancellor for Finance, Planning, and Development Muhamad Abduh.
BNI Corporate Secretary Okki Rushartomo said, BNI and ITB have established a long cooperation to collaborate in realizing banking services in the field of educational institutions.
Currently, BNI has a fairly complete educational ecosystem to meet the banking service needs of the academic community, ranging from students, lecturers, employees, alumni, vendors and parties related to the university.
“As an ITB Partner Bank, BNI continues to strive to transform to provide the best services and the right solutions to jointly realize ITB's vision and mission through the Campus Financial Ecosystem program which is a total BNI solution for the academic community at ITB,” he said.
One of the tangible forms of BNI's support is approving assistance for the construction of ULT ITB worth Rp2.2 billion. This Integrated Service Unit will function as a one-stop information service facility for the entire ITB academic community, to support the transformation of digital-based academic services, and to increase efficiency in the campus environment.
Okki added, BNI hopes that this assistance can encourage ITB to improve the quality of information services and campus digitization towards a world class university and strengthen transactional and non-transactional cooperation.
“We hope this cooperation will provide convenience and comfort to the entire ITB academic community in accessing banking services,” concluded Okki.
With this initiative, BNI not only strengthens its position as a financial partner for educational institutions, but also demonstrates its commitment to supporting digital transformation in education.
