PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BNI contributes to the stunting prevention program as part of its Environmental Social Responsibility (CSR). Through this program, BNI distributes additional nutritious meals for children, basic food assistance, and education for parents and posyandu cadres.
BNI Corporate Secretary Okki Rushartomo said that BNI's real commitment in supporting President Prabowo Subianto's Asta Cita was carried out through a number of TJSL activities.
“In a series of TJSL activities that started from December 2, 2024 to February 2, 2025 in Tasikmalaya, West Java, BNI provided additional nutritious meals, education and various educational activities in order to reduce stunting in Indonesia,” Okki said in a press release.
Through this TJSL in Leuibudah Village, Tasikmalaya, West Java, BNI distributed nutritious supplementary food assistance to 47 stunting children for 2 months, basic food assistance to parents of stunting children, and nutrition seminars for pregnant women in the context of stunting prevention.
“We also provided smart parenting and mental health training, stunting alert midwife and cadre training, and provide educational games for 8 posyandu in the village,” said Okki.
Okki added, similar programs will continue in different locations in line with the government's efforts to produce the future generation of golden Indonesia. BNI will again conduct similar activities in several places to collaborate in supporting government priority programs.
“With the active role of all parties in supporting the government's program to produce competitive human resources, we believe it will facilitate this achievement,” Okki concluded.
