BNI and SMF Integrate Digital Payment Services, Supporting 3 Million Houses Program

PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BNI, together with PT Sarana Multigriya Finansial (Persero) or SMF, strengthen their synergy thru the integration of digital payment services based on the API SNAP One Gate Payment (OGP).

This collaboration aims to support the Three Million Houses Program initiated by the government by prioritizing efficiency and security in the national housing financing system.

This strategic step was marked by the signing of a cooperation agreement between GM Wholesale Transaction Product & Partnership BNI I Gede Widya Ananta Yoga and the Director of Finance & Risk Management SMF Bonai Subiakto in Bandung, Wednesday (6/8/2025). The ceremony was witnessed by BNI Director Abu Santosa Sudradjat and the SMF leadership team.

BNI Wholesale Solution & Value Chain SEVP Pancaran Affendi, who also attended the event, stated that this collaboration is a form of BNI's commitment to supporting SMF in carrying out its mandate to realize access and affordability in housing.

"The OGP SNAP API service is expected to facilitate transactions for SMF, a Special Mission Vehicle (SMV), that builds and develops the Secondary Housing Financing Market," Pancaran explained in a written statement.

BNI's SNAP OGP API service is a one-stop solution for cash management that allows corporate customers to directly access various services, such as balance information, account information, transfers, and transaction status.

All of these features are currently in accordance with the National Open Payment API Standards (SNAP) set by Bank Indonesia (BI), and are reinforced with cutting-edge security technologies such as end-to-end encryption, layered authentication, and real-time transaction monitoring.

Furthermore, Pancaran added that this collaboration not only supports SMF's operations but also becomes part of BNI's contribution in supporting the provision of decent and affordable housing for the community.

This collaboration also represents a continuation of the synergy between BNI and SMF, following the disbursement of a credit facility amounting to IDR 1.45 trillion in May 2025. "This initiative aligns with the government's program to realize the construction of three million houses," he said.

Meanwhile, SMF's Director of Finance & Risk Management, Bonai Subiakto, welcomed this collaboration and emphasized SMF's commitment to continuously strengthening the national housing finance ecosystem.

"By synergizing with BNI, we hope to expand our financial services reach, ensure transparency, and accuracy, and create a secure and reliable digital ecosystem, particularly in supporting the national housing finance program on a sustainable basis. This collaboration is believed to have a positive impact on improving services and productivity," said Bonai.

Through this collaboration, BNI and SMF affirm their strategic role in supporting the digital transformation of the national financial and housing finance sector, in line with the spirit of Accompanying Your Every Step.
