BNI Reminds the Public to Beware of Fake Job Openings

PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, or BNI, reminds the public to be wary of fake job vacancy scams impersonating companies. This mode often targets job seekers, especially recent graduates, through fake job postings circulating on social media and other communication channels.

BNI Corporate Secretary Okki Rushartomo explained that the perpetrators usually ask potential victims to transfer a sum of money under the pretext of accommodation or transportation costs as part of the selection process.

"We urge the public not to easily believe recruitment calls that ask for certain fees, because that is clearly not the official BNI procedure," he said in a written statement on Tuesday (9/9/2025).

BNI emphasizes that it has never requested personal data outside of official mechanisms nor charged any fees throughout the entire recruitment process. To ensure the accuracy of information, the public is advised to apply only through the official BNI website at https://recruitment.bni.co.id.

Okki added that anyone who finds suspicious information related to BNI recruitment can immediately confirm it through the company's official channels. "BNI Call 1500046 is ready to provide valid and verified information," he emphasized.

BNI emphasizes the importance of public caution in responding to any circulating recruitment information. This vigilance can prevent fraudulent attempts, ensuring job seekers only participate in official, safe, and transparent selection processes.
