(24/10/2025) - PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, or BNI, recorded significant growth in transaction activity thru the BNI Agen46 network, driven by increased bank participation in the Koperasi Desa Merah Putih/Koperasi Kelurahan Merah Putih (KDMP/KKMP) program.
As of September 2025, the number of transactions processed thru BNI Agen46 reached 79.81 million, a year-on-year increase of 37.2%. This surge indicates the increasingly strong contribution of Agen46 in expanding access to financial services and driving the strengthening of the people's economy in various regions.
BNI Corporate Secretary Okki Rushartomo explained that this success is concrete proof of BNI's contribution to expanding financial inclusion and supporting community-based economic growth.
"This record clearly reflects that BNI's involvement has a positive impact on the community while strengthening the people's economy. In line with government directives through the KDMP/KKMP program, BNI continues to expand the role of BNI Agen46 to become more closely aligned with the community's needs," Okki said in a written statement.
In addition to record transaction volume growth, the financial performance of BNI's agency network also showed a positive trend. Fee-Based Income (FBI) from agency services grew 18.9% year-on-year, while Current Account Savings Account (CASA), or agent affiliate account balances, increased 39.3% year-on-year to IDR 5.5 trillion.
Okki continued, explaining that this achievement is inseparable from the network mapping strategy and optimization of Android EDC devices, which have increased efficiency, speed, and service convenience for agents and customers. As of September 2025, the number of BNI Agen46 agents reached 226,143, representing a 9.1% year-on-year increase.
"These figures demonstrate the significant role of BNI Agen46, not only as the spearhead of financial services distribution, but also as a driving force behind the growth of low-cost funds and BNI's credit distribution," Okki added.
To strengthen its agent network, BNI is also developing various innovations, including a self-registration feature through the BNI Agen46 app. This initiative allows prospective agents to register independently without having to visit a branch office, expanding reach and accelerating the process of establishing new partnerships.
With its continuously growing performance and adaptive digital strategy, BNI Agen46 is further strengthening its role as a bridge for national financial inclusion and a strategic partner in promoting economic equality down to the village and sub-district levels.
