PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BNI)'s commitment to implementing Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles has again received national recognition. BNI received the Leadership AA – Excellence Leader in ESG Transparency award at the Indonesia ESG Leadership Awards 2025, organized by the Bumi Global Karbon (BGK) Foundation at Soehanna Hall, The Energy Building, SCBD Jakarta, on Wednesday (12/11/2025).
This award affirms BNI's position as a pioneer in transparency and sustainable governance in Indonesia's financial sector. This year's event carried the theme "Aligning Indonesia ESG Leadership with Global Opportunities," reflecting Indonesia's strategic momentum in strengthening sustainable economic partnerships with the European Union and Canada through the IEU-CEPA and ICA-CEPA agreements.
BNI Corporate Secretary Okki Rushartomo said the award motivates BNI to continue improving transparency, accountability, and the implementation of ESG principles across all business lines.
