Increasing MSMEs Business Capacity, BNI Collaborates with ITPC Osaka and Indonesian Embassy in Tokyo

PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BNI through BNI Tokyo Overseas Office strengthens cooperation with the Indonesia Trade Promotion Center (ITPC) Osaka and the Trade Attaché of the Indonesian Embassy in Tokyo to increase the capacity and business network of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).

This time, the company presented Japanese business delegates to share business experiences in penetrating the Japanese market through a Business Forum and Networking Session entitled Unlocking Opportunities in Japan Market.

As for the three industry categories that are the topic of discussion, including the restaurant industry, supermarkets (F&B), and the ceramics industry.

In his statement, BNI Director of Wholesale and International Banking Silvano Rumantir opined that Japan's market conditions are very attractive.

To trade with Japanese enterprises, business actors must simply adhere to the applicable legislation and standards.

“Through this agenda, we hope that Indonesian MSMEs can improve the quality, capacity and capability of their businesses so that they can compete in the global arena,” he said.

Silvano continued, the company has BNI Xpora program that provides digital features, advice, and business matching to make it easier for MSMEs to go global.

"Through this business forum, we hope there will be business matching between BNI Xpora customers and Japanese business delegates. Many potential buyers are able to become the target market for BNI-fostered MSMEs,” said Silvano.
