PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BNI) was strengthening its support for the empowerment of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) by presenting 10 of its fostered MSMEs at the Dhawa Festival (Dhawafest) Pesona 2026 exhibition in Jakarta. "BNI's participation in Dhawafest Pesona 2026 demonstrates the company's commitment to encouraging its fostered MSMEs to upgrade, become more competitive, and expand their market networks through cross-institutional collaboration," Corina said in a written statement.
Dhawafest Pesona 2026 was organized by the Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) of the Ministry of Finance as a platform to promote creative products from various regions in Indonesia. The exhibition ran for three days, March 4–6, 2026, at the Dhanapala Building, Ministry of Finance Complex, Jakarta.
This year, Dhawafest brought together around 240 participants consisting of artisans, producers, and MSMEs fostered by various government agencies, state-owned enterprises, private institutions, and representatives of the Dharma Wanita Persatuan within the Ministry of Finance.
Carrying the theme "Persembahan Elok Nusantara – Supporting More Classy MSMEs Towards a Golden Indonesia," this exhibition showcases a variety of products in the fashion, handicraft, and culinary sectors that reflect the rich culture of various regions in Indonesia. This year, West Sumatra Province was designated as the icon of Dhawafest, with the Plate Dance symbol representing the values of cooperation and synergy.
At the exhibition, BNI showcased various MSMEs it fosters from various sectors. These included Fenny Permata, which offered pearl and gemstone jewelry; Rafi Ridwan x ManZieRa, which showcased hijabs and woven fabrics by disabled artisans; Jeara Sleep Wear, which offered sleepwear; Polka Clothes, which offered polka-dotted batik and woven fabrics; and Bagora, which offered fried onion products.
BNI also brought a number of other fostered MSMEs such as Rendang Asese with typical Indonesian culinary, Artha Boutique with batik products, Wong Perfume with local perfumes, Lemari Lawas with vintage collections and old batik, Rumah BUMN Bekasi with Muslim clothing, Abit Kain with clothing, ulos, and bag products, and FIEF with batik and woven collections.
In addition to offering superior MSME products, BNI was also promoting the use of cashless transactions and improving financial literacy among business owners. These efforts align with BNI's commitment to supporting digital transformation in the MSME sector while encouraging more modern and sustainable business practices.
Through participation in Dhawafest Pesona 2026, BNI hopes that its fostered MSMEs will gain broader market access and strengthen business networks with various partners. Synergy between banks, the government, and businesses is considered key to accelerating the growth of MSMEs as the backbone of the national economy towards a Golden Indonesia.
