18/12/2023. Fraud involving employee recruitment in the name of PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BNI has reappeared. This hoax news was spread by irresponsible parties via social media and even email.
BNI confirmed that the news was a fraud. The Company invites job seekers to be alert and not to easily believe any sort of information whose truth has not been confirmed.
BNI Human Capital and Compliance Director Mucharom, disclosed that the public has been deeply disturbed by the method of fraud using the name of BNI, which involved staging bogus recruitments and demanding money.
The public is advised to be careful not to get caught in this fraudulent mode, because it often occurs during the student graduation period.
"We underline that much of the news about BNI recruitment is a scam. "The public should be careful when receiving information," he stated on Wednesday (13/12/2023).
Mucharom stated that the public should disregard messages from persons that send letters soliciting BNI recruitment via email and request a particular amount of money to book plane tickets and hotel accommodations for the selection process.
According to Mucharom, this is not the first time this fraud has occurred. BNI together with Polda Metro Jaya, especially Subdit IV Tipidsiber Ditreskrimsus Polda Metro Jaya, have uncovered a similar case.
"We also emphasize that BNI has never charged any fees from applicants for appointing any travel agent in the employee selection process," he stressed.
Mucharom said that information regarding valid BNI recruitment is only conveyed via the company's official website, namely recruitment.bni.co.id and official email at talentsearch@bni.co.id.
