As the official sponsor of the Central Board of the Indonesian Badminton Association (PP PBSI) BNI is honored to be part of the glorious journey of the Indonesian Thomas and Uber Teams in the world's most prestigious badminton championship.
BNI Corporate Secretary Okki Rushartomo said, this extraordinary achievement is clear evidence of the unyielding spirit, hard work, and high dedication of Indonesian badminton athletes who should be proud of.
“This success not only makes the nation proud in the international arena, but also inspires the younger generation to continue to pursue achievements in various fields,” Okki said.
BNI's full support for the Indonesian Thomas and Uber Teams has been realized since the beginning of the tournament. BNI is committed to always be present and provide motivation to Indonesian badminton athletes so that they can perform optimally and bring home the Thomas and Uber Cups to the country.

Thomas and Uber into the Final
BNI's support for the Indonesian Thomas and Uber Teams has been proven. The Indonesian Thomas and Uber Teams made a surprise by both qualifying for the finals.
The Indonesian Uber Team crushed the defending champion, South Korea in the semifinal match with a score of 3-2. Similarly, the Indonesian Thomas Team advanced to the final by defeating Taiwan 3-0.
For the Indonesian Thomas Cup Team, this is the third time in a row that the Red and White have reached the final since 2020, when they last brought home the Thomas Cup.
Meanwhile, the Indonesian Uber Team’s victory brought an end to Indonesia's 16-year wait. The last time, Indonesia qualified for the Uber Cup final in 2008 when acting as host.
"We are optimistic that the Indonesian Thomas and Uber Teams will be able to achieve the best results in the final round. Support and prayers from all Indonesian people will be additional strength for the athletes to achieve victory," said Okki.
