BNI and Pancasila University Launch Co-Branding Student Card

PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, or BNI, has partnered with Pancasila University (UP) to issue and manage the BNI Pancasila University Co-Branding Student Card. This program is expected to improve digital banking services while strengthening financial literacy on campus.

This collaboration was confirmed through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding on the Higher Education Ecosystem Program and a Cooperation Agreement for the Issuance and Management of Co-Branding Student Cards by BNI Institutional Director Eko Setyo Nugroho and Pancasila University Chancellor Adnan Hamid at the Pancasila University Multipurpose Building, Jakarta, Thursday (18/9/2025).

"BNI is committed to providing digital banking services that support students' academic and financial activities, while also building an inclusive financial ecosystem on campus," said BNI Institutional Affairs Director Eko Setyo Nugroho, in a written statement.

This collaborative Student Identity Card (KTM) is designed as a smart card with three main functions namely student identification, a BNI Debit Card integrated with wondr by BNI, and TapCash for daily transactions.

Additionally, BNI has prepared special promotional programs for students who activate their KTM, including 27 GB of free data for a year from by.U by Telkomsel, as well as the opportunity to win mobile phones and other attractive prizes.

This collaboration strengthens the relationship between BNI and Pancasila University which has existed since 1997. Currently, UP also utilizes BNI Cash Management services and Single Tuition Fee (UKT) payment facilities through the BNI network.

In the initial phase, over 2,800 co-branded student cards will be distributed soon. Eko hopes this step will bring tangible benefits to the academic community.

"We express our deepest appreciation for the support of Pancasila University. We hope this collaboration brings great benefits to students and supports the advancement of the world of education," concluded Eko.

The launch of the BNI Pancasila University Co-Branding Student Card not only provides easy access to digital banking services for students, but also marks a strategic step by BNI in expanding the financial ecosystem at the university.

This initiative is expected to boost transaction efficiency, enhance financial literacy among the younger generation, and support digital transformation in the education sector.
