(13/10/2025) - PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, or BNI, expressed appreciation for the enthusiastic performance of Indonesia's young badminton athletes at the BWF World Junior Mixed Team Championship 2025. The performance of the young Indonesian squad showed high fighting spirit, a tough mentality, and great potential to continue achieving at the world level.
The tournament, held at the National Centre of Excellence in Guwahati, Assam, India, on Saturday (11/10/2025), pitted a young Indonesian team against a strong squad from China in the final. Despite falling behind in the first set, Moh. Zaki Ubaidillah and his teammates put up a fierce fight in the second set. The duo of Riska Anggraini and Rinjani Kwinnara Nastine even opened a 9-5 lead in the first game of the second set.
The deciding match in men's doubles was dramatic. Muhammad Rizki Mubarrok, who replaced Alexius Ongkytama Subagio to partner with Raihan Daffa Edsel Pramono, successfully pressured their opponents and forced a tie at 44-44 against the dominant Chen Jun Ting/Liu Jun Rong pair in the first set.
BNI Corporate Secretary Okki Rushartomo appreciated the efforts of all the athletes, who were considered to have shown a never-give-up spirit and high sportsmanship.

Before reaching the final, Indonesia's young squad put in an impressive performance, eliminating host India in the semifinals. Despite trailing in the first two games, the Indonesian team managed to turn the game around with Moh. Zaki Ubaidillah's victory over Rounak Chouhan, followed by a solid performance by Ikhsan Lintang Pramudya and Rinjani Kwinnara Nastine, who widened their lead to 36-33 and secured a 45-35 victory in the first set.
In the second set, Indonesia's dominance grew stronger. Consecutive victories from Raihan Daffa Edsel Pramono/Alexius Ongkytama Subagio, Thalita Ramadhani Wiryawan, and Zaki Ubaidillah gave Indonesia a 27-15 lead. The victory was then secured by the pair Ikhsan Lintang Pramudya/Rinjani Kwinnara Nastine, and concluded with a convincing win by Riska Anggraini/Rinjani Kwinnara Nastine over Aanya Bisht/Angel Punera with a final score of 45-21.
Okki added that the efforts of this young squad serve as inspiration for the future development of Indonesian badminton athletes.
