Jakarta, 22 October 2019 --- PT. Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk together with Grab, the number one everyday everything app in Southeast Asia today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for strategic collaboration based on technological innovation. This strategic partnership between BNI and Grab will cover comprehensive cooperation from B2B to B2C. For B2B, which is currently underway is the provision of BNI Cash Management System services that make it easy for Grab driver partners to withdraw funds using BNI accounts. As for the B2C collaboration, there are several collaborations such as corporate customer payments in the Grab for Business service using BNI Credit Cards, the provision of GrabWheels services and GreenLine taxis at Grha BNI and Menara BNI Pejompongan, as well as other initiatives related to savings products and credit facilities from BNI to improve financial access for Grab partners throughout Indonesia.
The signing of MoU was taken at Menara BNI Jakarta by Anggoro Eko Cahyo as Consumer Business Director, BNI and Neneng Goenadi, Managing Director Grab Indonesia which also witnessed by Ridzki Kramadibrata, President Grab Indonesia and Ongki Kurniawan as Executive Director Grab Indonesia, and representatives of BNI management.

Cooperation of BNI and Grab
Both parties agreed to collaborate to improve access to financial services both for driver partners, customers, employees, and BNI and Grab corporate partners.
Through the Cash Management System cooperation, BNI provides Grab cash management system in the form of One Gate Payment. The collaboration aims to facilitate Grab partners in the process of disbursing funds from their e-wallet to BNI accounts. In this system, BNI provides instant funds disbursement services for Grab partners.
As for through the cooperation of Corporate customer service, Grab and BNI establish strategic cooperation for Grab for Business service, a digital solution for flexible, transparent, and safe transportation expenditure management including insurance protection and 24/7 customer support access. This service offers productivity, efficiency both in terms of time and cost, as well as a better experience of customer for professionals.
Trips booked through the Grab application will be automatically consolidated in the Grab for Business portal in real-time, complete with travel information including employee names, dates and times of travel, pick-up and drop-off locations, vehicle types and payment methods selected. Through this collaboration, Grab for Business service users can enjoy the convenience of payment with BNI credit cards as the primary payment method with a transparent system and can be directly accessed in real-time through the integrated Grab for Business portal. Now, more than 50 Grab for Business corporate customers from BNI partner companies enjoy productivity, efficiency both in terms of time and cost through this service. BNI itself has become one of corporate customers service of Grab for Business and has experienced efficiency improvement since using the service. Meanwhile with the cooperation of Integrated transportation service, Grab presents GrabWheels which is an environmentally friendly electric e-scooter service, in the BNI office area, namely BNI Pejompongan Tower and Grha BNI. Grab presents GrabWheels in the BNI office area as a new innovative mobility solution for customers, visitors and also employees who want to travel short distances.
The presence of GrabWheels is a tangible manifestation of Grab's contribution in providing solutions that can meet the needs of the community, as well as creating an environmentally friendly business area. In addition to GrabWheels, Grab also presents GreenLine taxi services within the BNI office environment to provide easy access to transportation for BNI employees and customers.
Last May, BNI also collaborated with GrabKios (previously known as Kudo, Kiosk for Online Commerce, which has been integrated with Grab), where BNI will get around 40 thousand additional Agents46 this year from GrabKios shop owners spread throughout the region Indonesian territory. Stall traders who have successfully become agent46 can take advantage of BNI's service features such as withdrawing deposits and opening smart behavior accounts. In addition, BNI also cooperates with stall entrepreneurs who have the potential to channel People's Business Credit (KUR). Agen46 is BNI's partner in providing banking services to the public in the framework of financial inclusion.
