Balaraja, 26 May 2019 --- In order to welcome Eid al-Fitr 1440H, BNI held various joint homecoming programs at the last weeks of the fasting month this year. The first series of the program was held at Insan Pratama Islamic Boarding School, Balaraja, Tangerang, Banten on Sunday, (26 May 2019). Attend in the event, the Head of Jakarta Kota BNI Area Office, Yessy Kurnia.
The Corporate Secretary of BNI, Meiliana said, in accordance with the Ramadhan BNI theme this year "Let’s Fold the Goodness", BNI dispatched 50 Islamic boarding school students to Solo on this occasion. BNI did not only dispatch customers, but also fulfills the mode of transportation needs of the students who must miss their hometown.
"This event is just the beginning of the homecoming series that will be held by BNI. In total BNI has dispatched 10 thousand homecomers with bus, train and airplane transportation modes. The total number of homecomers departed by BNI using buses this year is 7,750 people, including disabled homecomers," Meiliana said.
Meiliana added that on the homecoming program this year, they are given tumbler so they will not need plastic drinking bottle. It aims to help reduce plastic trash. Every homecomer departed by BNI also get insurance protection from BNI Life up to Rp 30 million.
This program is a part of SOEs homecoming series that will be held at Gelora Bung Karno Stadium, Jakarta on the next Thursday (30 May 2019). On the same day, BNI will depart 2,000 homecomers by train from Pasar Senen Station, Jakarta.
Homecoming using the bus will also be held again at the East Parking, Gelora Bung Karno, Jakarta on Saturday (June 1, 2019). In closing the series of events, BNI will depart 250 homecomers using airplane from Soekarno Hatta Airport, Cengkareng, Tangerang, Banten on Sunday (2 June 2019).
