Full Contribution of Agen46 in the Middle of Covid-19 Pandemic

Jakarta, 29 May 2020 --- In the midst of Covid-19 pandemic, government issued a nine-staple food distribution program as a form of support for affected families. In fact, this is not the only time the government has published similar program.

Previously the government had also distributed programs such as Program Beras Sejahtera(rastra) which was an update of the poor rice program or Raskin. In addition, there was also Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH), subsidized fertilizer program, and social safety net program that is channeled through LAKUPANDAI agents owned by SOE Banks.

As an extension of PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BNI), a grocery store owned by Khusnul Khotimah in Maesan Village, Kediri Regency, East Java, also helps in the distribution of groceries to people affected by Covid-19 pandemic. The groceries store is one of Agen46 networks (BNI LAKUPANDAI Agent) which are spread throughout Indonesia. The distribution of the nine-staple food assistance is still compliant with Covid -19 protocol.

Khusnul Khotimah said that she officially became an Agen46 since the last September 2017. BNI provides her shop with EDC machine, Agen46 board, brochure, and provides business assistance. Not only that, Agen46 becomes a source of additional income for her through fees on every transaction she serves.

"I serve about 300 t0 to 400 BNI banking transactions monthly. Beyond that, I feel happy to be able to help government programs such as Bansos, PKH, BPNT, or the assistance of groceries for prosperous families affected by Covid -19. By becoming an Agen46, I can improve the economic level of my family and contribute socially in the midst of society," said Khusnul Khotimah.

Khusnul Khotimah did not even think that her partnership with BNI had sweet results. With the real progress of her business, she was able to get a People's Business Credit (KUR) loan of Rp. 200 million, which has now been paid off. However, now the collaboration continues with BNI's trust as a KUR agent.

In Jakarta, in mid-May, the Director of Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) of BNI, Tambok P Setyawati said that BNI was optimistic in facing The New Normal after the Corona Virus Pandemic, one of which BNI had run a KUR referral program through Agen46, where prospective debtors do not need to come to BNI outlets, meet the physical distancing recommended by the government. Of course, by helping the distribution of KUR BNI, Agen46 who has made a referral will get a fee," she concluded.
