18/12/2023. PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BNI is implementing a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program to welcome Christmas 2023 and New Year 2024.
The CSR program's theme is BNI Natal Berbagi 2023, which symbolizes BNI's festive mood for Christmas 2023 and New Year 2024.
BNI distributes a total of 34,000 food packages to all BNI operating areas consisting of rice, oil, sugar, instant noodles, tea and other necessities.
All assistance will be distributed through operational branch offices and BNI Regional Offices. This food package is intended for underprivileged communities including orphans, the elderly, widows and others.
In addition, Christmas celebrations and services were also held with orphans and underprivileged people in all BNI regional offices.
BNI Corporate Secretary Okki Rushartomo said that BNI is sharing this to help the welfare of people in need. This is a manifestation of BNI's appreciation for the sustainable development goals (SDG's), namely Indonesia without poverty and hunger.
"BNI's mission is to increase awareness and responsibility for the environment and society," said Okki.
Okki stated that this program is carried out regularly every year in order to share love with others.
"We hope that the aid supplied will help to keep the peace this Christmas. "May the peace of Christmas embrace all those who celebrate," stated Okki.
