BNI Receives Two Outstanding Awards from Marketeers Youth Choice Award 2024

18/05/2024. PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BNI made another achievement by winning two prestigious awards at the Marketeers Youth Choice Award (YCA) 2024. BNI won the Silver rank in the SOE Dream Workplace category and the Bronze rank for the Electronic Money (TapCash) category.

This award is a form of appreciation for BNI's commitment in providing ease of transactions for Generation Z (Gen Z) through TapCash and being one of the SOEs that is dreamed of as an ideal workplace for Gen Z.

The Marketeers Youth Choice Award is a brand award based on the voting results of more than 2,000 students, especially Gen Z. They are spread across dozens of well-known campuses in various cities in Indonesia, namely Jabodetabek, Serang, Bandung, Malang, Madura, Padang, Surabaya, Makassar, Yogyakarta, Medan, Lampung, and Sumba, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT).

In this year's YCA survey, there were 32 product categories with a survey method where respondents chose three out of five brands in a category. The highest achievement of a brand is to be chosen and advocated by consumers.

BNI Corporate Secretary Okki Rushartomo expressed his highest appreciation to Marketeers for the trust given to BNI. “We would like to thank Marketeers. This award really means a lot to us,” said Okki.

Okki explained, TapCash is a BNI electronic money card that functions as a substitute for cash and can be recharged. TapCash can be used for payments at various merchants that work with BNI including minimarkets such as Alfamart, Indomaret, Alfamidi, and Circle K, official stores in e-commerce such as Tokopedia, Shopee, Blibli, Bukalapak, and Dinomarket.

In addition, TapCash can also be used for transactions at vending machines in TransJakarta and Commuterline busway shelters, as well as for toll payments (e-toll BNI).

“TapCash undoubtedly simplifies transactions by eliminating the need to provide cash. Moreover, Gen Z is a cashless generation, TapCash is expected to be viable choice,” said Okki.
